IC Fitness Privacy Policy

IC Fitness ("we", "our", "the app") is a workout and nutrition tracking app. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how it's handled.

Information We Collect

Account information: email address and password (or, if you sign in with Google, GitHub, or Discord, the basic profile info those providers share with us — typically name, email, and profile photo).

Fitness and nutrition data you enter: exercises, sets, reps, weights, routines, custom exercises, meals, food items, and body measurements you log.

Progress photos (Premium feature, optional): photos you choose to add to track visual progress. These are stored securely and only visible to you.

Device sensor data: step counts, read from your device's motion sensors, to power in-app step tracking.

Camera access: used only when you choose to scan a food barcode or take a progress photo. We do not access your camera at any other time.

Payment information: purchases (merch store, Premium subscription) are processed by Stripe and RevenueCat. We do not see or store your full card number — payment processing is handled entirely by these providers under their own privacy policies.

Advertising identifier: if you're on the free (ad-supported) tier, Google AdMob may collect an advertising identifier to serve ads. Premium subscribers do not see ads and this does not apply to them.

How We Use Information

To provide the core app experience: storing and displaying your logged workouts, meals, and progress
To process Premium subscriptions and merch purchases
To serve ads to free-tier users (via Google AdMob)
To look up nutrition information via USDA FoodData Central and Open Food Facts (only the food search term or barcode is sent to these services — no personal or account data)

Third-Party Services We Use

Supabase — hosts our database, authentication, and file storage
Stripe — payment processing for the merch store
RevenueCat — subscription management for Premium
Google AdMob — advertising for free-tier users
Google / GitHub / Discord — optional sign-in providers
USDA FoodData Central / Open Food Facts — nutrition database lookups

Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data on their end.

Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. To request deletion of your account and associated data, contact us at the email below.

Children's Privacy

IC Fitness is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the app changes. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
